Některé islandské hory mají konkrétní jména. Ale jméno mnohých je názvem skládaným z jednotlivých slov, popisujících charakter místa. Proto v islandských mapách najdeme řadu výrazů, které se opakují. Máme-li zvídavou duši, brzy nás může začít zajímat, co všechno se můžeme z názvu dozvědět.
Kniha Listlandi nás pomocí minimalistických ilustrací provede islandskou krajinou. Ilustrace jsou doplněny krátkým textem v angličtině, češtině, islandštině, polštině a španělštině.

is a book about our fascination by shapes and names of Icelandic mountains.

Some Icelandic mountains have their own original name but the name of others unites a few words describing a character of the place. That is why we can find some words more often in Icelandic maps. We can learn a lot about the spot just by knowing the name in case we are curious what is the meaning.
We will be pleased if you support the publishing of our book describing each mountain shape by minimalistic drawing and a short text info in English, Czech, Icelandic, Polish and Spanish language.
